12 Week Session

    • 2 practices per week, 2 hours each
    • Practices – Tuesdays and Thursdays,  Sep 16 – Dec 11, 5-7 PM
    • Dedicated Team Coach, Max Team Size of 8.
    • Scrimmages with our Arrowhead HP where feasible.

Coach Adam Cox

Head Coach Arizona Athletic Grounds Team

Coach Adam comes from a sports and athletic background. He played football, basketball, and baseball as a youth. He also played tennis and basketball in college.

Five years ago, Adam picked up a pickleball paddle and his primary sports focus began to change. He played is his first senior pro event after playing for only 6 months. He has grown to love the sport of pickleball and the its community.

Adam has now won over 40 tournaments in the 4.0 – 5.0 range. He has also achieved silver and bronze medal finishes in a variety of other tournaments. Coach Adam admits that he gains as much satisfaction out of coaching and helping other athletes to improve as he does winning a gold medal in a tournament.

Currently, Coach Adam is the Head Coach for pickleball at the Arizona Athletic Grounds. He has been coaching and teaching pickleball for the past 3 years. He has taught clinics, private lessons, youth leagues, and adult groups. As a coach and teacher Adam says that he looks for specific ways to help clients based on his observations on the court, seeking to always help them improve their technique and skills,  and raise their pickleball IQ.
