Coach Vernick with 7 time NCAA Div 1 Champion Coach Russ Rose from Penn State University.

Coach Vernick with Karch Kiraly, Olympic Gold Medalist and head coach for the US Women’s National Team along with Hugh McKutcheon, former head coach and Olympic Silver medalist for the US Women’s National Team and former head coach for the University of Minnesota. “Both of these coaches are legendary and my opportunity to learn and interact with them several times at the Olympic Training Center was priceless”.

Coach Vernick with BYU Hall of Famer and former Olympic team setter Charlene Johnson. Charlene also served as the setting coach for the University of Nebraska during the period that the Huskers won the NCAA Championship. “I’ve worked extensively with Coach Johnson in clinics and as my personal mentor. She combines her USAV National Team experience together with her Div I National championship experience into her approach to training setters and all the other positions.”

Coach Vernick with Toshi Yoshida, former head coach of the US Women’s National Team. “I learned a lot from Toshi including his well known and highly successful passing and defensive techniques along with his philosophy and approach to setting.”
